Beginning Tuesday, September 4th, 2012, Lethbridge Transit will move back to its regular transit schedule affecting some routes. Routes 12 and 32, primarily college and university routes, will now have 15 minute service during the morning and afternoon peak times.

Animal Shelter Hours
The Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed on Sunday, July 1 and Monday July 2. Complaint response is limited to emergency calls only. The Animal Shelter will reopen as usual on Tuesday, July 3 at 11:00 a.m.

Summer is here and the City of Lethbridge will once again be performing maintenance on many City roads and sidewalks. This maintenance can include:

• Asphalt Milling
• Paving
• Pot Hole Repairs
• Crack Sealing
• Sidewalk Repairs and Replacement
• Other Minor Road Repairs

Lethbridge Transit will be making schedule changes effective June 27. New Ride Guides with these changes are being printed. Please watch for them on buses and at your local Breeze Card Retailers.

NEW SERVICE TO SUNRIDGE
Service will begin in SunRidge and will also run into RiverStone providing coverage the entire length of RiverStone Boulevard and Grand River Boulevard.

MODIFIED SERVICE TO COPPERWOOD
Service to Copperwood will be reduced from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and a new evening and weekend service will be added.

The City of Lethbridge will be having a series of planned power outages the week of June 18–21 affecting approximately 70 residents throughout the North Side over the course of the week.

The power outages will take approximately 7–8 hours, weather permitting, and work will be done as fast as possible to upgrade overhead power lines and restore power in that area.

The Ride Guide indicates which route times will be reduced.

The City of Lethbridge has begun collecting branches for the annual Spring Chipping Program as of 7 a.m. this morning.

Residents may leave pruned or broken branches (up to 8" in diameter) at the same location where regular waste is collected (ie. front or alley) but away from waste collection carts. Please place the branches neatly, with cut ends facing in one direction.
