The Glamorous Life of a Lethbridge living Intern
Over the past few weeks I've been working on my article for the March/April issue of the magazine. It was a fun story and something a bit different than other stories I've done in the past. Be sure to check it out when the magazine hits stands on March 5.
I've also had the chance to work on something else completely different, two stories for the Lethbridge Home Trends magazine. I don't know much about home design, and when I say much I mean absolutely nothing, so it's definitely been a learning experience in more ways than one.
Thanks to Tim, I've acquired a knack for names. He had a list of client information that needed inputting into a database. What seemed like an incredibly meticulous task, turned out to be only a little meticulous once Paige and I got started. It made the afternoon go by fast too, which is always nice.
Jenn has been keeping us interns pretty busy too. Apart from the stories we're working on, we've also been doing some editing, editing, and more editing. I've learned that sometimes going a tad bit crazy is normal after reading the same stories over and over.
The most exciting part over the past few weeks was sitting in on the cover photo shoot. Though it may not have been as glamorous, or as hectic as the photo shoots on America's Next Top Model, it was still really interesting to see how everything works. I'm just glad it wasn't me in front of the camera.
