January was a month of education and firsts. Almost like September, but with less back-to-school outfits and Lunchables.

Two months into my internship with Lethbridge living and I continue to be taught. I'm like a kindergarten child learning the ABC's of the magazine industry, except this alphabet is exponentially more entertaining and quicker to absorb. I won't deny that on occasion I still confuse a "b" with a "d".

Over the past few weeks I've been working on my article for the March/April issue of the magazine. It was a fun story and something a bit different than other stories I've done in the past. Be sure to check it out when the magazine hits stands on March 5.

Another two weeks have gone by at Lethbridge living and I'm still enjoying myself.

I've had a bit of a break from database entry and been doing a lot of editing stories for the upcoming January/February issue.

I feel as though my story assignment went really well. It was a bit difficult to write at first. Because I am so used to news writing at school, writing for a magazine was a change.
I also no longer sit alone in my large boardroom as fellow classmate, Paige, has joined me. (Be sure to check out her blog!)
