Behind the Scenes, A Visit with Cirque du Soleil (Paige Murray)

The last time I went to a Cirque du Soleil performance I had just entered my teen years. I distinctly remember struggling with my evening's choice of ensemble, more than I remember the show itself. However, adolescent graphic-t's, DC skate shoes, and hormonal mood swings aside, the extraordinary skill and talent displayed at the event was not lost on me and it's something that has continued to mesmerize me over the years. I'm challenged by 30 consecutive "girl push-ups," so people climbing a rope the height of an arena using only the strength of their arms is unbelievable! As well as a definite blow to my self-esteem.

School’s Out Forever

At last! The time has come when I have finally completed my college education.

Four years ago, I came to Lethbridge in the hopes of expanding my brain power, and the past four years at Lethbridge College were amazing.

I made incredible friends and was taught by amazing instructors, and opened up an entire new section of my brain. There's no way my now humongous mind will forget my time as a college student.

Now that school is done and over with, it's time for real life to start. Starting real life has posed to be a tad bit frightening and slightly stressful.
